In the summer, when it's hot outside, babies are particularly vulnerable to overheating and even heatstroke. Therefore, baby's first clothes must be made of exceptionally breathable fabrics. Furthermore, they should not restrict the baby's movement and should ensure comfort.

A layette for a baby born in the summer should include, among others:

cotton and silk bodysuits - preferably 5 pieces, with short and long sleeves,

First summer walks

Summer is the perfect time for long walks. However, it's important to avoid sun exposure between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. during hot weather and to choose shaded areas. A baby can be carried not only in a 2-in-1 stroller (a combination of a carrycot and stroller) but also in a wrap. In summer, it's best to choose strollers with a large canopy. A clever and practical solution is to use a thermoregulating stroller insert . It's important to remember that temperatures in a stroller can be very high in the summer, so covering your baby additionally is not recommended. It's worth attaching an umbrella to the stroller , which creates pleasantly cool shade for your child and protects them from overheating.
