Konges Slojd is a company founded in Copenhagen in 2014 by the creative Emilie Konge Breind . The impetus for its founding stemmed from a personal need – after the birth of her child, Emilie sought safe and aesthetically pleasing accessories made from natural materials. When she found nothing that suited her, she took matters into her own hands, creating her first product in her basement – the famous cloud mobile. The brand designs products to support parents throughout the various stages of childcare. Therefore, their collections are versatile and functional, yet distinguished by unique patterns and a stunning color palette. The name itself, " Sløjd " being an old Danish word meaning " fine craftsmanship ," perfectly captures its character.
