Leander is a Danish brand, founded in 1998 by Stig Leander, which specializes in the design and production of high-quality furniture and accessories for children , combining functionality with modern, Scandinavian design. The brand's history began with a personal need, when Stig, a trained blacksmith, decided to create the perfect furniture for his family's newborn twins – safe, beautiful, and intelligently designed. This passion gave rise to a philosophy in which furniture adapts to the child, not the other way around. Leander products are valued for their innovative solutions, aesthetics, and attention to detail, earning the brand recognition among parents worldwide.
The Leander range includes children's beds , such as the oval Classic™ beds, which grow with your child. This masterpiece of transformation offers five different configurations – from a newborn bed with a mattress on the top shelf, to a toddler bed with a lowered base and open side, and finally to a stylish, small bed measuring 150 cm in length.
Another product is high chairs , such as the Classic™ model. Its unique feature is its construction from a single piece of molded wood , which gives it a slight "springiness." The chair gently moves with your child's movements, ensuring comfort. Thanks to the adjustable seat and footrest, it grows with your child and is suitable from 6 months to adolescence.
Matty™ changing tables , made of soft PUR foam that feels like human skin, provide comfort and hygiene while changing your little one's diaper. Our range also includes chests of drawers and accessories , such as Luna™ chests of drawers and diaper organizers, that simplify daily baby care while maintaining an aesthetically pleasing appearance.
Leander stands out for its high-quality materials —its products are crafted from durable and safe materials, such as molded beech, with a water-based varnish finish, ensuring their durability and safety. The brand prioritizes functionality and ergonomics , designing furniture tailored to children's growing needs, offering the ability to adjust and adapt to subsequent developmental stages. Modern Scandinavian design combines simplicity with elegance, allowing Leander products to blend seamlessly into a variety of interiors, adding a stylish touch.
By choosing Leander , you're investing in innovative solutions that support your child's healthy development while also enhancing the aesthetics of the space they grow up in. Leander products are more than just furniture—they're a harmonious blend of functionality, comfort, and beauty that accompanies your child from the very first days of life.
