The Skip Hop story began in 2003 in New York City , when Michael and Ellen Diamant – new parents – faced a simple, yet surprisingly difficult challenge: finding a diaper bag that was practical, durable, and stylish . Finding no such bag available, they decided to create their own. Thus, a brand was born, which today is one of the leaders in the baby industry.

Ellen, with her experience in designing and marketing luxury brands, gave the products a unique character, while Michael – with his entrepreneurial mind and sense of innovation – ensured that design and functionality were combined .
