The children of Bullerbyn are never bored. In spring, Lisa, Lasse, Bosse, Olle, Britta, and Anna climb the fence, ride the bull, step into puddles, and plunge into the stream. For Children's Day, they come up with lots of games for little Kerstin. As Christmas approaches, they help with the preparations—carrying firewood, cutting down Christmas trees in the forest, baking gingerbread, and wrapping presents.

When spring arrives, all the children of Bullerbyn go completely wild. Lisa, Lasse, Bosse, Olle, Britta, and Anna climb the fence, ride the bull, step into puddles, and fall into the stream. And little Kerstin plucks all the daffodils from her mother's garden—because it's so much fun picking flowers! In the evening, the children burn old leaves and dance around the bonfire until they get dizzy...

Lasse, Bosse, Olle, Britta, Anna, and Lisa are throwing a Children's Day party for little Kerstin, Olle's sister. They want her to have as much fun as the children in Stockholm Lasse read about in the newspaper. So they put her on a colt, swing her high on a swing, and lower her from a window with a rope. But Kerstin doesn't like such fun; she prefers to celebrate Children's Day the Bullerby way. So how?

Christmas is approaching. In Bullerbyn, the children are eagerly helping with the preparations. They put out sheaves of oats for the birds, bake gingerbread cookies, and head into the forest to cut down four Christmas trees – one for the North farm, one for the Middle farm, one for the South farm, and one for Grandpa. The air smells of gingerbread and wax, and everything is so beautiful and festive it can make your stomach ache. And finally, Christmas Eve arrives…

The volume contains three stories about the children of Bullerbyn: Spring in Bullerbyn , Children's Day in Bullerbyn and Christmas in Bullerbyn . A book with a cloth spine, perfect for a gift.
