Time, or everything flows
Why does time sometimes move faster, while other times it seems to drag on forever? Who are the time thieves? Do a day and a year last the same on other planets as they do on Earth?
In this fascinating book, you'll find answers to these and many other questions. You'll learn about:
- time zones and their impact on our lives,
- slow life philosophy and the longest-living people,
- the history of the first clocks and the work of the watchmaker,
- the differences between punctual and latecomers,
- time travel, ticking clock towers,
- and even about futurology and predicting the future.
This book is not only full of scientific curiosities, but also inspiring stories and observations about time in our everyday lives.
