Mrs. Badger is already very old and has seen a lot in her life. For many years, every Sunday she sets out from her garden and climbs to the top of a nearby mountain, from where she admires the world. Along the way, she helps friends, contemplates nature, and picks mushrooms. One day, she meets Lulek, who secretly dreams of climbing Słodka Bułeczka (Sweet Bun) but is afraid he won't be able to cope. Because when you're young and don't know the mountain's secrets, climbing it seems impossible. With a friend, however, everything becomes easier. After all, true friendship is caring for each other. This and many other things Lulek learns every Sunday. A moving and tender story about the path of life, caring for one another, the importance of devoting time to others, and passing on knowledge to younger generations.

"This is one of the most beautiful books I've ever held in my hands. Not just for the youngest, but for everyone. In a concise, lyrical style, it tells the story of what's most important in life: friendship and love, struggling with one's own inability and the passage of time. And also—or perhaps above all—about wonder at the world. After all, it's precisely this wonder that we want to teach children."
