The Secret Code of Les Loufoques puzzle game
Yellow, purple, red, blue? Bingo! The code is correct!
Secret Code is a logic game where players must decipher a sequence of four colors as quickly as possible, determined by their opponent. The game is played on a special wooden board with holes in which colored pegs are placed. The player who determines the code places four pegs of their choice in the appropriate, face-down spot on the board. The player guessing the first four colors by placing the corresponding pegs in the first row on the board. The opponent places white or black pegs in the adjacent row, indicating which colors were correctly guessed (black indicates the correct color and location; white indicates the correct color but the wrong location; and no color indicates the wrong color). For example, if the player guessing places green, red, yellow, and blue pegs, and only blue is correctly placed, the player who determines the code places no color, no color, no color, and a black peg. On the next turn, the player who guesses knows that blue is correct, so they place it again in the same spot and try to guess the rest.
The game consists of two rounds. Each player plays one round as the code maker and one round as the guesser. The winner is the player who guesses the code set by their opponent faster, i.e., occupies fewer rows on the board by betting on the correct colors. Various variants of the game are available in the instructions.
The game teaches logical thinking and develops concentration. Children learn the concept of healthy competition. This fun activity is a great way to spend quality time with family. The game is packaged in a handy box, and the colorful posts are packed in a fabric bag, making the set easy to transport.
