Knock, Knock, Fox is a game for the whole family. The main premise is cooperation between all players, considering which move will be best to protect the hens and prevent the fox from falling into the henhouse.
Number of Players: 2-8
Package contents: 1 board, 6 chickens, 24 wooden eggs, 4 egg cartons, 1 fox and 1 dice
Starting the game: Very carefully place 4 eggs in each nest and 1 hen on each nest. Place the fox on the starting square (number 1).
Game:
This is a cooperative game, before any move is made, players should decide together what the best move will be to protect the henhouse.
The game is started by the youngest player, and then each participant rolls the dice and performs the action indicated on the dice:
Egg x 1 – Collect one egg (from any nest) and put it in your egg carton
Egg x 2 – Collect two eggs (from any nest) and put them in your egg carton
You can't collect eggs from different nests on the same turn. If no nest has enough eggs to perform an action, it's the next player's turn.
Hen - Only take the hen if there are no eggs in her nest. If you can't save any hen, you must say, "Knock, knock, fox!" Your turn is lost, and the next person plays.
Fox – move the fox forward to a space on the board
Game over
If all the eggs and chickens are out of the henhouse before the fox arrives (spot 8), you win!
Otherwise, if the fox is faster than you, you must put all the eggs and chickens back in the nests and the game starts over.
