The hair comb is handcrafted from Italian cellulose acetate, commonly known as "tortoiseshell", which is a unique, non-petroleum-based, hypoallergenic and vegan material known for its exquisite aesthetics and durability.
All Turtle Story ornaments are handmade in the workshop, and the production process takes over a week and includes:
- laser cutting from cellulose acetate plates
- hand-bending of ornaments
- multi-stage polishing in 3 types of polishing drums
- manual cleaning and polishing
- manual application of additional elements (studs, stones).
