I don't want to be a squirrel anymore! If anyone asked me, I'd rather be someone else. Like a beaver. If I were a beaver, I'd build a better world! Well, yes... but being a beaver is so tiring... Besides, I've always dreamed of being a deer. Hmm, I thought a deer had a better life. Maybe... an owl? A hedgehog? Oh no, I don't know anymore!

The squirrel is tired of being a squirrel! Because other people have it easier, more interesting, easier… Who wouldn't want that?

A mischievous squirrel returns to find out which fur suits him better: his own or someone else's. "I Don't Want to Be a Squirrel Anymore" is a charming story about jealousy, but also about the importance of recognizing your strengths.

"I Don't Want to Be a Squirrel Anymore" is the third title in the series about a mischievous squirrel. We also recommend "This is MY tree" and "A Little Bit Much."

Olivier Tallec – was born in Brittany, France, in 1970. He is the author and illustrator of children's books, comics, and numerous print publications. He has illustrated over 50 children's books. His books have been published in dozens of countries.
