This is definitely a book with a message, and the entire story ends with a revelation that will resonate with young children. It's the perfect book for children afraid of sleeping alone. It tells the story of a tiny dormouse who, every night, quietly sneaks into her friends' homes and takes over their sleeping quarters. Initially, neither the Deer, the Turtle, the Mouse, nor even the Bear understand their little friend's motives. While listening to the story, the child also initially doesn't understand why the dormouse so desperately wants to sleep in someone else's bed, and her desperation ultimately leads her to the Big Bad Wolf's sock. Only when the friends decide to talk to her friend does it become clear that the little dormouse is simply desperately afraid of sleeping alone. The entire story is skillfully written to captivate the little one and draw them into the story. At the same time, the child can easily relate the situation to themselves and their own behavior. Therefore, this book is recommended especially for those children who, for similar reasons as Popielica, often do not want to give up sleeping with their parents and perhaps even have similar or the same fears and anxieties as the heroine of our book?
